Drones

Drones are small aircraft operated by software or a remote pilot, often used to capture visual data from above. As drone technology was made public, many industries jumped on the chance to use it.

The visual data provided by drones have been utilized by many construction companies to cut down on time and costs for pre-construction surveys, identifying safety concerns, tracking progress, and identifying delays.

Drone software enables the aerial photographs to be cross referenced with GPS data, allowing accurate updates of construction and conservation sites. Because of this, drone operators are in high demand. Many are employed through private construction or architecture companies.
